Courtenay is a Barclay Managing Partner and an Emerging Markets fixed income expert. From 2008 to 2017, he headed HSBC Securities (USA) on the US West Coast while covering some of the largest global institutional clients in the Emerging Markets. Courtenay joined HSBC in 2004.
Prior to 2004, he was Head Trader for International Fixed Income and FX at Franklin Templeton Investments, and prior to this, he was an Emerging Markets salesperson at Merrill Lynch.
Courtenay earned his BA in International Relations from Carleton College and his MBA from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University.
